mmm.. making a ton of items with text... Christianmissiontrips.org/moonter.html (wouldnt be too hard) Not sure how popular we could get that on download.com or somewhere else tho... text only might scare users away... We could make a funny RPG that makes fun of Final Fantasy Not sure...

Not too hard game... You are prompted to choose a vehical. A tank, a jet, or a helicopter. Each one has its own weapons and HP. You start in the going north pos, and are told to go with the tanks to attack the enemy in the north. so you escort the tanks, upon arrival, the tanks start firing at the enemy . After a few minutes of intense fighting between the two sides... A strange alien type ship appears and joins with the enemy in attacking you. The two tanks do not last too long after that... You are forced to retreat... Anywho... That would be the begining of the plot. Would be cool if we could use the winsock.dll to include a multiplayer also. I think this would possibly be pretty popular.

that is what i was wanting to test the AI on ... added the ability to control you whole force, via buttons.. while controlling the main player with arrow keys... (in other words, limited control over your forces IE where they go... but AI will do most of it.) the single player would be fun.. but i think the multiplayer would be what would make it good fun.

This woulnt work if anything required the space bar, also it doesnt look too good... im not sure of a good way to implement this... * I can't figure out how to make the tanks turn... like aim towards the target... or even how to have it select a target... Anywho, does anyone want to do the open source project? any kind? 8) this was just an idea that i have been kicking around.

Yeah, I'd like to try to do something collectively. It would be interesting to see how it works out. Note though, I don't have much free time so it has to be evolving slowly.
