I am really looking forward to the next version. ;D
One thing I wanted to point out (and I can make a seperate topic on this if you want) is the simplescroll.b2d demo has not worked on either my laptop or my desktop. Oddly, many of the graphics effects don't work on my laptop but I'm going to update my graphic driver before I report those as bugs (along with the laptop's specs.)
One other thing, the parallax scrolling demo needs the command getcurframe updated to getcurrentframe.

Again, thanks for the words of encouragement. I enjoy programming and most of the time it comes naturally to me. When the last installation build was put together (for v0.0.18) the code for simplescroll.b2d was inadvertently substituted for the menu example code. So when you try to run the program it goes looking for graphics and sounds that are not available in that folder. Its not your computers. here is a link to a zip file with the proper code for the simple scroll example and the command getcurrentframe fixed in the parallax example. Sorry. link: brutus.pewtersoftware.com/scroll.zipAlso, when the last installation package was assembled the examples for the new weather effects were left out. Here they are: brutus.pewtersoftware.com/weather.zipThese items have been added to a new installation package of v0.0.18. Anyone downloading the setup program as of today will have these included. The example programs are tested on several machines to check for compatiblity. For certain effects the video card must be capable of producing these effects. Thanks for the input.

;D you must be a really good programmer. A built-in tile map editor and commands, . I'm looking forward to these new commands and the map editor. I am planning on creating a maze game with my son similar to Intellevision's Night Stalker (but with a lot more features.) While my son is busy designing mazes and robots (he's 9) I'll have fun adding different levels of AI for them. I also want to make the mazes a lot more lively with doors, gold to collect, various other critters to contend with and other (maybe Lode Runner) type aspects. It'll be fun to make and perhaps will become the first showcase game for Brutus2D. ;D

Good to see you are making progress on Brutus2D!
As far as giving you suggestions for additional features I will probably be more useful once I begin developing my game with the next version. The only feature I would like to see added is pixel collision (I see you added rectangular and circular. That's great.)
