Done: fixed -- bug that did not allow changing the EXE name from whatever the source file was called. added -- automated not drawing to the screen when the window is minimized. (in previous versions it was up to the programmer to include a routine to handle this with the System.GetWindowState command) Updated -- the scroll demo; now much faster and smoother parallax scrolling Adjusted -- the gamma control of a FullScreen window, so that it can fully darken the screen now as well as lighten it. added -- when bringing up a new coding window it gets focus added -- new collision detect command; GetCollisionCustom. This command allows you to specify a particular rectagular area on 2 different images to check to see if they collide. (rather than the entire areas of 2 images). added -- STREAMING ogg music capability added -- timers (start, stop, split, reset, Apptime, SystemTime...) added -- Code your program in either of Microsoft's BASIC or JAVA Script syntaxes; you choose. ;D I think this is a first. Can't think of any other gaming environment, or application environment for that matter, that lets you program in 2 different languages. added -- new help file (just need to fix all the relative links )

80% done -- Code your program in either BASIC or JAVA syntaxYou mean JavaScript, right? At times I prefer it to VBScript. It can be more flexable.

That's great. BTW, how long until it's officially version 1? Just curious.

Well, I was using this time as kind of a Beta phase. Adding features, changing things, fixing bugs, etc. When that was all done, then call it version 1.0. Most of the features are in place now (timebased movement, tilemaps, particle engine, sound, music, etc). Pretty much everything one needs to make a great 2D game. And the help file(s) are finally getting to be almost useful The only thing (I feel) that is missing is Network capabilities. That can come in the next release (v0.0.23). Not sure how many people write networked 2D games, but whatever. I wish that more folks were providing feedback from actually making a game, as to what else might be needed or need tweaking. Or is it that the primatives bug is the only outstanding issue? ( I believe I have a work around for that issue, By the way). So perhaps, after v0.0.23, will come a first release of a complete product.
