I just thought it would be cool to list a few features for another release:
-- Change the color of the syntax ide. -- A comprehensive help file.

I'd also like to add that since its based on VBScript (the language not the graphics engine) the most intensive logic should be included in the engine: * Sprite collision including box, circle and pixel. * Maps * Path finding (with varying levels of sophistication)

Hi,
jt92 said: "Change the color of the syntax ide" For now you can change it for every session of Brutus2D you start up. Right-Click in the code window and goto Properties. The settings you chose will stay active until you close Brutus2D. Saving personalized IDE settings is on the list of future enhancements.
stevep: there are examples of box and circle collision detection for single image images included in the download.
These techniques can be extended for an animated (multi) image (sprite). In fact a new demo is being worked on right now that will show how this works.
Maps -- Brutus2D as it is can do just about anything you want to do with tile maps, if you program it yourself. If you are looking for a more automated/built-in functionality for maps it can be added to the future features list and discussed some more.
all: the help files for the graphic functions are in need of work for sure. They will be improved at some point. For now work is focusing on the capabilities of Brutus2D. Almost every command gets tested by way of an example program. For now, the best way to learn how a command works is to look at the examples.
For those who need general programming help, I am sure that we do not have to spend weeks writting a 300 page help manual on how "IF-Then's" and "For-Next's" and etc. work. It has been done before. You can either Google for a tutorial or post your questions here and some kind soul can help you out. (Or if someone knows of a good tutorial link, please post that).
Regards, Guilect
