system.pause doesn't seem to sleep the process. Take the following code (java syntax):'for i = 0 to 10 ' system.debugPrint i ' system.pause 500 'next
for (i = 0; i <= 10; i++) { system.debugPrint(i) system.pause(500) }
This code uses 100% of the CPU when running. Now I don't know if that's because it's within the IDE. Maybe it is different when compiled, but if possible, the program should free up the CPU for other processes when it is sleeping anyway.
Notice the first loop is commented out. But when using Java syntax (as the example does) one uses // for comments (or /* and */) and not ' as in vbscript. The problem is that when the editor is in java syntax, it marks the lines starting with ' as a comment and does nothing with the slashes //. It compiles fine though. It's just a small visual "bug" so you should have the editor recognize comments and strings accordingly in both java syntax and vb syntax.

I have just noticed that the syntax coloring works fine when using java syntax. You just have to restart the editor after you have selected the syntax you want to use.
