I noticed that Ctrl+A is the keyboard shortcut for Edit->Redo. I would like to propose changing it to Ctrl+Y which is normal in most Windows programs I have tried, and to set Ctrl+A as the shortcut for Edit->Select All, which also is normal for most programs I have tried.

^^
Good idea, when I first started using Brutus2D I tried using Ctrl+A to 'Select All' and was quite annoyed to find it didn't work.

This was asked for before. I have looked into this and have not found a way to force the pre-made editor control ocx into doing that. I did not made the editor control nor do I have the source code. I will give it another try though.
