I have noticed that FreeBASIC has a screenlock function which also seems to be in libraries such as SDL. I was thinking, is this something you can do with Brutus2D also to speed up the process when one wants to draw many primitives. Try e.g. the mini racer (note you need Brutus2D v1.2 or earlier for this release), enter the Track Editor (under editors->track editor->any track) and press C you will see collision circles I am using in the physics. There are many circles and it consumes a lot of time drawing them all. EDIT: I actully don't remember if ShowCollisionCircles it is implemented in that version Maybe it is.
