How about an option to set the window position, or at least to keep it from cascading?
The position changes as if the window is cascading. It's annoying as I make changes, press F5 and the window is in a new, annoying position. This is extremely annoying as I am working with an 800x600 window, and half the time the bottom part of the window appears below my screen.

I'll second this. It would be really nice. Also, why not make functions to get the desktop size so that one can position the window as he wants based on the size of the desktop... e.g. centered.

I can build that into Brutus2D. FYI, that cascading is a standard window's thing.
For now just place this one line of code in your program and the window will show up at the same place everytime. I suggest you put it just before 'graphics.initialize'.
dll.CallAPI "user32", "MoveWindow", system.gethwnd, 0, 0,640,480,true
where the 0,0,640,480,true means
0,0 = the x and y position 640, 480 = the width and height of the window true = redraw the window
