Hi finally i finished my memory game. You can find it at this link: digilander.iol.it/robylu/jamg.zip. Quite a simple game with 4 rounds with increasing difficulty. Well i am not a REAL programmer so don't expect wonderful graphics and code, but i think it is quite good. Try it and if you want, write here some comments. Bye robylu

Good work. This played fine for me, but I got an error when exiting: Runtime error "91" object variable or with block variable not set.

Yah our first contribution to the showcase ;D Very nice robylu. For the first 3 rounds I was doing pretty well and thought that when finished I would post my score. But after the 4th round I had changed my mind I can get the "Runtime error 91..." by not following the games instructions. i.e. If I exit by pressing 'esc' rather than exiting by 'q'. In your program you should look for both a press of 'q' OR a press of the 'esc' button.

I am really curious as to how you did the lettering used in the game. It is really sharp looking I am a lousy artist, and my games usually suffer because of it

OK then i lerned a lesson: keep the sub's first and THEN the main code ;D. The error was there 'cause i called the "ending" sub (hitting "ESC" during a round) to close all, assuming that after it the program would quit. Instead after the execution of the sub, the program returned back and then it could not execute more commands, giving this error. Fixed it. You can find the program at the same link. About the last screen where you MUST type "q", there i find no errors as i tried to type "ESC" and all others keys, but by me it goes only "q" But i would like to thank you guys for quick remark on my little game . Kuron: don't worry i am not that great artist. All graphics are made by me, but i used for tiles some fonts and than i painted them. For the "WELL DONE" i used the Xara 3D that can make very nice words. So just experiment and don't be afraid to publish something, even if you think is not good enough. If you listen to the music i inserted, it is really a bad one. But i wanted to insert a music and to keep it small i wanted to make it in midi format. I am not a musician, so i tried to make some "noise" and this is the result. I know it is boring and sounds are not that "oh my..." but it's made by me.
