Here is Brutus2D doing realtime 3D via the TrueVision3d engine. First, run the file 'run_me_once.b2d" first. You just need to run this file once to register the dll. You will get a messagebox confirming success. Now you can run the TV.b2d file. Controls are the 4 arrow keys to move. Mouse for look up and down. NOTE: Use the ESCAPE KEY to exit the program. (NOT the 'X' on the window). Have fun exploring the island. Features: Real time 3d landscapes Height maps Fog Sky box Collision detection animated water more... B2D_3D

Wow, that's Excellent. The 3D looks much better than some of the stuff I've seen in Basic4GL.

I don't know what to say. Does this mean you are thinking about B3D, or are you looking at an extension mechanism? -hartnell

I was just playing around. This does illustrate Brutus2D can be extended. I was also curious if a scripting language could do real time 3D. I was pretty happy at how smoothly it ran on my humble PC. I don't think there will be a B3D. 3D is hard. At least I think so. If I was to make a 3D game creation system it would be point and click, no programming involved.

I agree with Guilect, 3D is hard :S Anyways, this demonstrates very well how "easy" it is to extend the functionality of brutus using dll's
