I tried to post this about a week ago, from Guilect's request. BTY Guilect was a program made for Dilect for all those who dont see the irony in the nick. I used Dilect for a while. Anywho... Okay, the majority of Iraqi refugees are Catholic. The majority of the Iraqi's I have met, have been not literate. In Lebanon we have refugees from Pre Sadaam time, that are literate. Kinda strange. I have yet to meet a pro bush Iraqi. I wonder if the Pro Bush Iraqi's are a fantasy in the mind of CNN and Bush. There could be some in the kurdish areas. I am not sure. The Jordanians seem to be against the peace agreement between Israel and Jordan. There are anti american groups in Jordan, but not nearly as many as I have seen in Lebanon. I have been staying with some american missionaries here, and they seem to run into ALOT more troubles than I do. They have the thickest american accents when speaking arabic. The food here is the best, that I have had anywhere in the middle east. Missionary work here is VERY illegal. It is illegal for a muslim to leave islam, but legal for anyone to become muslim. That is all I can think of when writtin this. Hezb Allah is far a more big threat to the US then Al Qaeda (from what I have seen/heard so far.)

There's no iraqis on voice chat so I know little about them. From what I've heard though, they considered to be a large, amorphous bumbling mass with an accent that sounds like slapstick. I would say this is distorted, but I keep hearing it from muslims and jews from the middle east. -hartnell

It is always good to get news straight from the source with no filtering or bias.

That's the thing about Paltalk, you can get some of the story some of the time, but not all the time. I'd like to talk to a few Iraqi's but there are none (excepting muslim hating christian converts who are possibly pretending to be iraqi or imported by hate groups to be use as an "example") . It's hard to find certain nationalities to talk to. Not surprisingly, cubans are all but non-existent. French, german, and russian people are rare. You can stumble across the occasional Chinese, but they almost always seem well educated and from Hong Kong. (wonder what the deal is). Keep in mind though, that this is in the english speaking regions of Paltalk. I've talked to people all over south america because I can speak spanish in their own section. I still hate the Portuguese language, even if they are decent people. Same thing goes for castilian spanish. URG. Cool King they have though. lol -hartnell
