I was thinking. Maybe it would be a good idea to make a beta release prior to an official release so that "your peers" (or beta-testers (some of us)) can try out the new things before they become official. That way any changes that need to be done can be done before an official release. A good example is the feedback I have given to the Gauss function and the random functions in the Math object.
What do you think?

We can give it a try.
The focus would be on testing newly added commands/features. Any new feature requests would be put off until the following release. The time period for folks to give feedback on the new features will not exceed two week.
Oh, And I am thinking that the beta would just be the IDE exe and the help file. Not a complete install package with all the examples, graphics, and sounds.

I think it sounds like a good plan. Everything you said basically.
