I cannot seem to be able to draw any graphics after i have called fx.setfx, until i have called graphics.display
Try to render an image just before and also just after
FX.SetFX f1 ' set the fx to be displayed in the FX_Config.b2d example program. If you draw an image just before this line, the image gets drawn, if you draw it just after, the image does not appear on the screen.

Works fine here.
I used the mountain bmp for my image.
graphics.clear graphics.setxy imgBack, 0,0 graphics.setimage imgBack FX.SetFX f1 ' set the fx to be displayed graphics.setxy imgBack, 400,400 graphics.setimage imgBack
At first I thought it did not work then I realised that I need to have the line:
graphics.setxy imgBack, 0,0
because I was trying to use the same image in two different places.
You would not be doing the same thing, would you?

No, setxy has no effect on it here. If the code looks like this, then it doesn't get rendered on my computer. Does this work on yours?

EDIT: Ah.. you said that in some demo i made you didn't see the images. Maybe it has something to do with the particles. I cannot recall if it was the space shooter or the first level of the tractboy.

Ya, it works fine on my machine. Later tonight I'll try it on a different PC.
That was the later versions of your space shooter game. I could see the particles, the large stations (3 ships joined together) the star background, and the text; but not the small fighter ships.
Don't you just love how the same code works differently on different hardware.

I have the same problem with the Space Shooter that comes in Examples; I can see the Particles and explosions, but not the graphics of the Sheep nor the Aliens.

transdiv, can you try and remove all occurrences of fx.setfx in that space-shooter example and tell us if you see the ship after that? I think it might be useful for guilect if we can be sure that it has something to do with the particle emitters (FX).
