Hello, I'm new here and I though it would be good to introduce myself. My name is Sebastian (who'd have guessed? ^^) and I'm 23 years old. I started programming when I was 11 years old so I've got a bit of experience especially with BASIC languages. I started with the old QBASIC, thn moved on to C. Then came VisualBasic, Blitz3D, DarkBasic, Java, C#, Python and a few other languages. I'm currently using PureBasic in my spare time which is a very good all-purpose language which also got 2D commands and spits out very small and performant executables. But I'm searching for a more practical oriented language and found out about Brutus 2D. I'm currently in the third semester of Mathematics (after studying 3 semesters Computer Science) and to earn a little bit money I started designing board games. Of course it would be nice to have digital versions of my board games as well and that's how I ended up here ^^ On a side note I should mention that I suck at graphics but I got an eye for good design and I think I can consider myself to be a quite good CSS coder (working on v3 of my website at the moment)

Hi sebastian, welcome to the forum. If you need some graphics for your games check out the resources & sprites pages on the Brutus2D wiki.

Hi Sebastian and welcome. I tried Purebasic also, but the lack of OOP support, and the "kindness" from some forum members when you mention that you want OOP support, deterred me from continuing using it. It is a very nice package though. I hope you will create some games we all can enjoy
