Peter, thanks for the games you coded. They are very nice. Seems like most visitors here are from the Northern Hemisphere and now it is summer there. Summer means more outdoor activities and less time in front of the computer. But that is just an assumption. U9 - gone on to bigger and better thing? How is your game coming along? OddChild - dodging mortors? What part of the Middle East are you in now? Matthew - he checks in fairly regularly. Thanks. So, What is every one doing that they are to busy to post here ?

I try to look in everyday or so but currently I've got a lot of things going on in my life. So far this week I've been messing about with Ubuntu, a lot of different programming languages, Xbox 360 & withdrawing money from the bank to pay some bills, lol. I've got several unfinished Brutus2D programs on my computer but I never seem to able to find the time to finish them.

I too want to say thank you peter for all the games you are making. I really enjoy playing other people's homemade games. As you can see on this thread, there are some people that check back here regularly, and answer any questions that might come up. As guilect mentioned, it's summer and many people try to enjoy the sun, especially here in the north where we don't really get so much sun. I myself am writing my final thesis now during summer vacation because I attended an academy for game creation (academy: www.dadiu.dk and my creation: wind.wikidot.com it's a halflife2 mod), and it took two months out of my thesis time, so now i have to deliver in September. I was playing with a network game but haven't much time to do anything lately. It is very much an on and off thing. But i really want to get some experience with networking, so i will probably make it into something someday. Anyways, also note that there are two kinds of people in a community, the active and the passive people. Most people are passive and just watch / read / enjoy what is going on in the community, while a few are active in creating content, e.g. posting on forum, writing games etc.

^^ One of these days I'll buy one of those. I'm busy playing 'Call of Duty 4' which I brought this morning.

Hi u9,
you will find lots of games here 'www.glbasic.com' in the showroom for your gp2x. There was a competition before short time for the gpx2 here.

You should hurry then, they're almost sold out, and they are not producing any more. It is a really really nice machine and a lot of homemade games for it. Lots of fun I'm making some games myself too and it is quite easy. Since it is out of production i'm guessing pretty soon GPH (the makers) are gonna come out with a new hand-held, so you could also wait for that to arrive.
