Hi Matthew,
use the NVIDIA system control. Click on: User specific dissolutions administer . Click on: Provide. Click on: Extended option. Write your parameters and the scaling type. Make a Test with 320x240.
did it go ??

I haven't got NVIDIA, I've got Intel. This image shows you the 3 screen formats my graphics card can deal with.

Matthew,
Have you no scaling factor ? Can you change aspect ratio? For example, same aspect ratio?

No, my options for changing the aspect ratio are pretty limited. My laptop wasn't very expensive so I don't expect the graphics card is very good.
