What has everyone been working on?
What is the status of your current game, lazy mode, on hold, active, almost done, or what?
;D

I was working on a remake of Night Stalker (for the Intellivision) but got frustrated with my lack of artistic skills and then went on to a LOGO language interpretter. I will probably return to the Night Stalker remake since I have a lot of ideas for it and put the LOGO interpretter on the back burner. Game makings more fun. I wouldn't say I am in lazy mode just limited time mode. On my list of important things to do game making is not the highest priority. It's just a hobby in my (very rare) free time. I enjoy it quite a bit, though, so I will produce something just not quickly (and I am a perfectionist which makes it worse.) I am glad Guilect based Brutus2D on VBScript (or JScript) because it just means I have less to learn and can focus on other things with the language.

Oh, I wanted to add that I am considering getting a cheap 3D app for designing the characters (robots, main guy, etc.) I figure if I can learn 3D designing I can render the animation frames seperately and make it look like a top professional game. Heh, maybe it'll be the first commercial game made with Brutus2D!!!! -- or -- maybe it'll be a couple stick figures running around blasting each other. Anyways, I better do something for the graphics.

That would be cool. I've used the Pivot animation system for a lot of graphics. Someone really should re make it, and allow you to put arms over the stick figure arms, so that you can quickly make cartoons move around... It would be so easy, and would save programers and poor animators a TON of time... hey Guilect you could do that eh? Nuge nuge, wink wink. A nuge is a good as a wink to a blind bat, nuge nuge wink wink, know what i mean? know what i mean?

I am at the end of my memory game (only the finals touch ups miss) and i will release it very soon. Nothing wonderfull at all, but my little contribution to this language. I am not a REAL programmer, i do it just for fun (that's my stickword), and also i have not so many free time. But for next i would like to experiment maps.

waiting for experimenting maps, i am doing another little game for my daughter. It will be an animal race with dice. The graphics will be the principal problem, but we'll see what i will take out! ;D

What I have been working on:
1. working on my web site 2. trying to find a hosting service I can afford. 3. a DLL so it is easier to make PBEMs* with B2D. 4. a program to wrap my game exe and my media (sound and graphics) all into a single, compacted exe. 5. a new DLL for streaming OGGs in B2D.
*PBEM = Play-By-E-Mail (games)

I have MoleBox Pro, but months back when I tried it with B2D, I don't think it worked with B2D EXEs. Could be remembering wrong?
Will have to try and finish getting stuff backed up this weekend so I can get the registered version of B2D reinstalled on my dev system and try MoleBox again.
If not, what I made is done and working ok for my needs.

Just an update. MoleBox does not work with B2D EXEs (trying on the asteroid exe sample included with B2D).
The solution I wrote, works much like "Nbinder", just with a smaller footprint, better compression and without causing false positives in AntiVirus programs, and I save myself $30 (which is a LOT of money for us) ;D

RUN tractboy! It is a trap! This is a game based on life as a missionary. I am a Christian missionary in the middle east. I decided to make a game, on how things are like, or not. BTY if you guys ever meet an AlQaeda guy, just give him a hug, thats all they need.

Looks interesting.
When can we expect to be able to play it?

I am thinking about releasing a workable demo in a month or so. I want this to a be full playable game, so I haven't been able to set a finished deadline.
