If we managed to work together to create some kind of a simple game that somehow became popular... we could get a swarm of ppl interested in brutus....
Just an idea. ;D

It's a good idea. If you want it work though everybody has got to be really dedicated.

How about ASSES OF FREEKIN' FIRE?!! Sorry for the Bullworth. But here's another sprite sheet I made that I'll never make a game for. -hartnell

Seriously though, I'm all for it. I have the asses of fire and a grim reaper based sprite sheet for Pong we can work with. -hartnell

I would love to, too... For the next two weeks I can't walk... So I got a lot of time on my hands... I just had my foot operated on by a red cross doctor for under 20 bucks! I wonder if i should have haggled more. I convinced him to give me more painkillers since I am tall... The pain is just starting to come in... :S Anywho... What kind of game? space, shooter, AOE Clone (lol that would be fun... just plan ahead for the days when Brutus will have multiplayer support...)

How about dusting off something that hasn't been done in a long time. A Sky Diving game, or as I like to call it, "I Got Freekin Wings." I've been told that OpenGL only deals with sprites that are powers of 2 in size, so that frees these up for use for other things. -hartnell

How about an RPG engine? I've started a similar project over at the Basic4GL forums so I can act as a "conduit of knowledge" between the two. -hartnell

i thought about this yesterday. i think if we did this... it wouldnt help draw many people... as there are a lot of RPG makers out there, and newbies would rather go for something easy like one of them. it would be better to focus on some of the things they (the RPG and other game makers) cannot do...
Still thinking..

Come on... an OOP RPG engine with Black Ops comments? Find out how it works with the ease of character.levelup().
