Blender is a Free 3D-Rendering package. It was recommended to me some time ago. After I first installed it and saw all of the bewildering Menus, I quickly uninstalled it. But now I've finally gone back to using it after I found some Video Tutorials. I still find it a bit confusing but it's free and there's an awful lot of Tutorials and Documentation.

Blender is quite difficult, in my opinion. Instead of Blender, I use commercial programs like Bryce or Vue. Sometimes you can buy them at special prices. Or you could try the free Wings 3D www.wings3d.com/. It can export your models as different file types.

Wings3D was recommended to me at the same time as Blender but for some reason I never tried it. Perhaps I will now.

I couldnt stand blender. It drove me nuts... Me too. I can't understand its interface. If I had enough time to learn to use it though...
